Adult Inventories-4R
(ASRI-4R, AORI-4R)
The Adult Inventories are behavior rating scales for DSM-IV and DSM-5 emotional and behavioral disorders among adults between 18 and 75 years old. The Adult Self-Report Inventory-4R (ASRI-4R) is completed by the patient (135 items), and the Adult Other’s Report Inventory-4R (AORI-4R) is completed by someone who knows the patient well. For each disorder there is an Impairment question (i.e., the degree to which symptoms interfere with the patient’s functioning in social, school, or work settings). The ASRI-4R can be read to the patient by a qualified clinician thus serving as a structured clinical interview. The Adult Inventories can be scored to derive symptom count cutoff scores (diagnostic model) or symptom severity scores (T scores based on a dimensional model). Scoring is quick and easy with user-friendly score sheets. The ASRI-4R and AORI-4R, published in 2008, replace the earlier ASRI-4 and AORI-4, respectively.
