Checkmate Plus Symptom Inventories are intended for use by qualified, licensed clinicians in the areas of medicine, psychology, social work, education, or an allied field when used as part of a clinical interview. Users should have a basic understanding of the principles and limitations of psychological and psychiatric assessment and be familiar with the ethical and professional standards of psychological testing and test interpretation.  Users must also have a basic understanding of, and specific postgraduate training in child and adolescent psychiatric disorders and diagnostic procedures. Reading website content or a Checkmate Plus Symptom Inventory Manual does not in and of itself constitute sufficient training in testing procedures, test interpretation, or clinical assessment.
